About
Efe Ekemen was born in Istanbul in 2001. In 2015, he began his studies in the Theatre department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School. In his final year, he focused on Theatre and Film directing. In 2019, he was admitted to the Cinema and Television department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
During his university years, he made documentaries and short films. His short film Derya received "Best Director" awards at international festivals in Athens and India. His most recent work, Bir Sır Var Yazılmış, was a finalist at the 61st Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. He currently works as an assistant director on commercials and feature films.
